We follow your child’s lead. Rather than directing your child through a set of adult-determined tasks, our therapists tune into what your child is curious about, motivated by, and excited to explore. Those interests become the foundation for learning – making every session feel less like therapy and more like a great day.
Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention (EIBI) Services In New Jersey
What Is Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention (EIBI)?
If your child has recently received a diagnosis of autism or a developmental delay, you’ve likely encountered a lot of new terms. Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention might sound like one of the more clinical ones.
At Advance to Thrive, we think of it much more simply: EIBI is about giving your young child the right support, at the right time, in the most natural and meaningful way possible.
EIBI is a specialized form of ABA therapy (Applied Behavior Analysis) designed specifically for young children, typically between the ages of 2 and 5. While ABA is the broader evidence-based framework used to support people with autism across all ages and settings, EIBI applies those same principles with an intentional focus on early childhood. It’s designed to meet children during a critical developmental window when the brain is most ready to learn, grow, and build lasting connections.
At Advance to Thrive, that means going well beyond traditional, structured ABA techniques. Through play, everyday routines, and genuine relationship-building, our New Jersey EIBI programs help children develop the communication, social, and learning foundations they’ll carry with them for life.
“Our goal is to create supportive and engaging environments where children can build independence, confidence, and lifelong skills through compassionate care. ”
ADVANCE TO THRIVE TEAM

Our Approach To EIBI Care
Many families come to us having heard that early intervention can sometimes feel rigid, repetitive, or clinical. Our approach is built on a different belief: that children learn best when they feel safe, respected, and genuinely interested in what’s happening around them. That’s why everything our team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and trained therapists does is child-led, play-based, and grounded in real, everyday moments.
No two learners have the same needs. That’s why every therapy plan focuses on the skills and supports that will make the biggest difference in everyday life.
Benefits of EIBI in New Jersey
Our EIBI programs are designed for young children, typically between the ages of 2 and 5, who have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or are experiencing developmental delays in communication, social interaction, or everyday living skills. At Advance to Thrive, we start exactly where your child is today and build from there.
Communication Development
When a child is still working to find their voice, every interaction can feel like a challenge, for them and for you. We meet children where they are and build communication skills that create real connection.
Play & Social Skills
Play is how young children learn to relate to the world around them. We help children develop the social foundations that make friendships, family moments, and everyday experiences more joyful.
School & Life Readiness
Starting preschool or a new routine is a big transition. We build the flexibility, attention, and independence children need to feel genuinely ready. not just prepared on paper.
Skills EIBI Can Help Develop
Every EIBI program at Advance to Thrive is completely individualized – built around your child’s unique strengths, interests, and goals. No two programs look the same, because no two children are the same.

Why Early Intervention Matters
The early years of childhood are one of the most active periods of brain development a child will ever experience. During this window, the brain is forming new connections at a remarkable rate. With the right support in place, children are uniquely positioned to build the foundational skills that shape how they communicate, connect, and navigate the world for years to come.
Research consistently shows that children who receive individualized early intervention tend to make greater gains in communication, social development, and adaptive functioning than those who begin similar support at a later stage. That isn’t about putting pressure on families. Iit’s about understanding the power of timing, and making sure your child has access to the right support during the years when it can make the most lasting difference.
At Advance to Thrive, our EIBI programs are designed to meet children at their own pace, with the flexibility to evolve as they grow. Whether your child is just beginning to develop language, building peer connections for the first time, or developing the independence they’ll need heading into preschool — early, consistent support creates a foundation that carries far beyond the therapy session itself.
Early intervention isn’t about changing who your child is. It’s about giving them the confidence, the skills, and the connections they need to move through the world on their own terms.
