BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst)

Required Qualifications

Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

  • Master’s degree or higher in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure, if required by state regulations.
  • Successful completion of criminal background checks and all required employment screenings.
  • • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for service delivery and supervision responsibilities.

Clinical Competencies

Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in:

  • Conducting comprehensive behavioral assessments, including functional behavior assessments (FBAs).
  • Designing individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Analyzing and interpreting behavioral data to guide clinical decision-making.
  • Supervising and mentoring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other clinical staff.
  • Training caregivers, family members, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Implementing ethical and socially significant interventions that promote client independence and quality of life.

BCaBA (Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst)

Required Qualifications

  • Active Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) certification in good standing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • State licensure or registration, if required by state regulations.
  • Ability to pass all required background screenings.

Core Clinical Competencies

  • Implement behavior-analytic assessments under BCBA supervision.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of individualized treatment plans.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data accurately.
  • Implement evidence-based behavior intervention and skill-acquisition programs.
  • Train and support caregivers and direct-care staff under BCBA guidance.
  • Conduct treatment fidelity checks and monitor client progress.
  • Collaborate effectively with families, schools, and interdisciplinary team members.

RBT (Registered Behavior Technician)

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification in good standing or ability to obtain certification within required timeframe.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • Ability to pass all required background screenings.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, as applicable.
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the position, including active engagement with clients.

Core Clinical Competencies

  • Implement behavior intervention and skill-acquisition programs as designed by the supervising BCBA/BCaBA.
  • Accurately collect and record behavioral data.
  • Follow treatment plans with consistency and fidelity.
  • Implement behavior reduction and safety procedures as trained.
  • Assist clients in developing communication, social, adaptive, and daily living skills.
  • Generalize skills across home, school, clinic, and community settings.
  • Collaborate effectively with caregivers and treatment team members.

Required Qualifications
